The purpose of this job is revenue generation with a focus on new customer acquisition - “Hunter” and direct all work performed in the market and to supervise all areas of operation.  Automotive Industry Experience Required 

Consider Your Opportunity

  1. Establish and grow the Dealer Specialties brand throughout the market
  2. Recruit, develop, provide direction and lead service managers and account representatives
  3. Manage and review P&L statements
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealerships and dealership groups
  5. Coach and mentor the entire team
  6. Manage the performance of the market through employee performance reviews and daily quality checks 
  7. Communicate vision and goals to the entire team and assist them with sales strategies
  8. Assist in the development/penetration of new products through daily and weekly visits with customers

Contribute Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Two or more years of hunter and outside sales experience
  2. Leadership success of the Route/Sales team required
  3. Two or more years of success managing managers
  4. Five or more years performing relationship management with team members and customers
  5. Two or more years of expertise in brand management 
  6. Management of a team with 10+ members preferred
  7. Recruiting and hiring skills
  8. Strengths and business competencies that include building effective teams, customer focus, drive for results, listening, problem-solving, decision quality, motivating others, integrity, and trust, priority setting
  9. Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving history
  10. Automotive experience required
This role offers a base salary of approximately $50-$60k annually plus bonus potential. Compensation factors include geography, experience, education, job demands, job market, etc.  Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account; 401k, matching up to 4% fully vested on day one of employment; paid vacation, company holidays and sick leave; corporate discount opportunities.
