Position at DX1 Platform

Recreational Dealer Solutions, LLC.  seeks a successful individual to join and work with our DX1 Website Team. This opportunity is for someone with entry level - mid-level technical experience. Someone looking to grow in their knowledge of website development supporting deployment services. This position plays an integral part of the success of all of our website projects, and supporting customers post live with their technical needs.
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Working directly with the Website Team to execute assigned tasks as they relate to launching new DX1 websites live. 
  • Researching and documenting DNS and website domain information in preparation for go lives.
  • Communication directly with customers via phone and email as needed or assigned to by leadership.
  • Work within the DNS Hosting System to input and update records as needed. Attention to detail is a must.
  • Setting up email accounts via Rackspace Distributor Account.
  • Training dealers on how to set up and manage their own email accounts once the initial account is set up internally.
  • Managing all domain name renewals, transfers, purchases, and expirations.
  • Email support once live:
    • Assisting with setting up email on desktop, tablets, mobile.
    • Troubleshooting email issues/errors. Researching error codes and walking dealer through adjusting settings to resolve issues.
  • DNS Support post live:
    • Researching any disruptions of website service at a DNS level.
    • Resolving any DNS record issues internally, or externally, that may be causing issue.
    • Issue escalation to IT Department if issue is at a server level and not DNS related.
  • DX1 Organization Creation - preparing accounts and setting up Office365 accounts in support of creating DX1 Dealerships for our website customers.
  • Process website suspensions for non-paying customers.
  • Any additional tasks or executable projects assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and a high volume of projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Document, document, document. Documentation is key and 100% necessary to be successful within this position. 
  • Must be able to speak professionally both with internal teams and externally with customers. 
  • Ability to handle detailed work with strong attention to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have research skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience.
  • Basic Networking experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of domain name systems and internet configurations.
  • General understanding of website structures and how DNS and Domains tie into that process is a plus.
