Retail Operations Associate (Seasonal, Three Quarter-Time)

Come spend the winter season at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science as part of our Retail Operations team!
We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly seasonal workers to assist in the Museum Shop, Café, Deli, and concessions area. This is a seasonal, temporary position running from November 3, 2025 through January 15, 2026.
Job Class: Three Quarter-Time, Seasonal
Hiring Range: $20/hour
Work Schedule: 4 days/week, 30-32 hours. Evenings, holidays and weekends required.

Essential Duties
- Greet and welcome guests
- Engage with guests to ensure they are finding items
- Stock and maintain appropriate levels of product in all areas
- Ensure food items (pizza, sandwiches, salads) are available for guests. Requests additional products with Food Services staff if food area is running low
- Follow all opening and closing procedures for all areas
- Adheres to cash handling polices and standards
- Food Safety standards are met and adhered to consistently
Minimum Qualifications/Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- 6 months’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment
- Ability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to pass any required certification for food, liquor health and safety
Ideal Candidate will have
- Basic cash handling or point-of-sale experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for creating joyful, memorable guest experiences
