Job Summary

DEX Imaging is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable prospecting, developing new accounts, and managing the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, trustworthy, and thrives in a fast-paced, consultative B2B sales environment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation activities.

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and follow-up.

  • Identify decision-makers, conduct needs assessments, and present customized business solutions.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to maximize long-term revenue opportunities.

  • Deliver professional onsite and virtual sales presentations demonstrating the value of DEX Imaging's products and services.

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Business Development, and Sales Support teams to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business.

  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and pipeline updates within the CRM system.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and market conditions to effectively position DEX Imaging solutions.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.

  • Prepare reports and provide regular updates regarding sales activity, forecasting, and customer opportunities.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Management & Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Reports to: Regional Sales Director or designated Sales Manager.


Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities.

  • Ability to build credibility and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM/contact management systems.

  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate business solutions.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

  • Ability to comply with all company policies and applicable laws.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent sales experience will be considered.

  • Previous B2B sales, business development, or outside sales experience preferred.

  • Experience with CRM software and pipeline management is preferred.

  • Experience developing new business through cold calling and prospecting is highly desirable.


Working Conditions

  • Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.

  • Additional hours may be required to meet business needs.

  • Local travel required to meet with customers and prospects.

  • Overnight travel may occasionally be required.

  • Domestic travel up to 20%.

  • Combination of office and customer-site environments.
