Work Environment: Hybrid

Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building

In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island

Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area

Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area

Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supervising a team of security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Overseeing daily security operations, including patrolling, monitoring surveillance systems, and access control of all CUC facilities.
  • Scheduling and leading department safety and operational meetings.
  • Ensuring security staff adheres to established protocols and procedures.
  • Conducting regular briefings and training sessions for security staff to maintain high standards of security awareness and preparedness.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of security equipment and systems by liaising with approved security equipment vendors and the CUC I.T. Systems team.
  • Responding promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with relevant authorities and CUC management.
  • Managing access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter restricted areas.
    • Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities
    • Implement and enforce visitor management protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • High school diploma with formal security and investigative methods training.
  • Valid security certification or license as required by local regulations.
  • Three to five (3 to 5) years within security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response.
  • Proficiency in using security technology, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
