Salary: CI$67,561 to CI$87,829 or USD$80,911 to USD$105,184

Work Environment: Hybrid
Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building
In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island
Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area
Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area
Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Perform the duty of Project Manager and assemble multidisciplinary project teams on large projects such as power generation expansions, building additions, Mechanical/civil upgrades etc.
Development of new and revision of existing business processes that support the mission, goals, and objectives, assigned projects and the company.
Identify and implement improvements to the safety, reliability and efficiency of existing plant and equipment through the development of scope of works, engineering design specifications and detailed engineering design.
Assist with the development of company engineering standards and practices.
Provide Engineering support to all departments of the company as required.
To ensure Company safety practices and procedures are followed by employees and contractors on all assigned projects.
Other duties as required.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and executing electrical engineering projects within a utility environment, including generation, transmission and distribution systems, substation upgrades, protection system installations, and battery storage projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of work experience with Electric utilities
PMP Certification or equivalent

Ability to manage large projects
Ability to make decisions within competing priorities
Ability to recognize safety hazards, analyze safety risk and take corrective action
Developed communication/interpersonal skills - modeling and reinforcing the company's principles of superior customer service, efficient low-cost operations, and a commitment to safety and the environment.
Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
