The Senior Business Solutions Analyst plays an essential role in elevating the operational effectiveness of our businesses by utilizing their extensive experience and skills in business process transformation, data analysis, and business intelligence. Collaborating closely with operations teams, product owners, technical teams, and leadership, this individual is adept at drafting detailed business requirements and capturing intricate process flows. Their expertise ensures our initiatives are firmly grounded in a deep understanding of business operations and intelligence, while aligning with business needs and value.
                                                                                                                                                                   
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Provide detailed business requirements and ensure that they align with business needs. Support technical teams with functional requirements documentation, bridging the gap between technical and business teams by adeptly translating business requirements to technical teams, conveying tech specifications to business stakeholders, and ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
  • Business Process Partnership: Partner with business SMEs to deeply interrogate, understand, and document business processes and procedures. Drive teams towards continuous process improvement and thorough documentation of procedures and policies.
  • Data Analytics & Business Intelligence: Extract, interpret, and analyze data to generate actionable business insights. Design and implement BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and relevancy.
  • KPI Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define, and track key performance indicators, providing insights based on trends.
  • Management Reporting: Construct and maintain management reports and dashboards to visualize KPIs and other critical metrics.
    • Cultivation of Business Knowledge: Cultivate a culture where business knowledge is sought, shared, and utilized across teams, mentoring peers and colleagues in deepening their expertise in the business domain. Recommend resources and training as necessary.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends in data analytics, BI, and business process management. Identify forward-thinking, data-driven solutions to enhance business operations and guide the team through design and implementation as a pivotal contributor. Lead initiatives for the documentation of procedures and policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Drive teams toward standardization, process improvement, and a unified approach to business & data operations. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Effective performance of the essential functions of this position requires regular in-person, on-site interaction with colleagues, both for purposes of relationship building and meaningful collaboration.

  • Advocacy for continuous learning and team collaboration culture.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Advanced degree preferred with a focus in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 7+ years as a Business/Solutions Analyst required, with experience in data analytics, business intelligence, process transformation and systems implementation, having an established background in bridging business requirements with technical solutions.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are preferred
  • Experience in benefits administration is preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
Commuting to the office, on average, three days a week. Extensive use of a computer keyboard is a demand of the position to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Salary Range: $110,000 - $143,000
