Cosette is headquartered in Bridgewater, NJ with 2 additional locations in the U.S. The South Plainfield, NJ office consists of an R&D Laboratory and other functional areas. The Lincolnton, NC site is a fully functioning, state of the art, manufacturing facility.

Basic Purpose:
To ensure timely maintenance of all compounding and facility equipment.  Troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure optimal usage.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot machinery and equipment
  • Repair and maintain machinery and equipment to include motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, and pumps.
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling machinery, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Move and install machinery and equipment
  • Capable of following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Strong welding skills are preferred

Education/Training/Work Experience

  • A high school degree with 5 years’ experience.
  • Appropriate license or degree with 3 years’ experience.
  • Fabrication/machining skills preferred.
  • Basic tool capabilities including hand tools, measuring devices, power tools and basic shop tools such as bearing press, drill press, saws, pipe threader and welding.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Communicate effectively with associates, contractors, and vendors.
  • Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Operate forklift and mobile elevated work platform equipment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
