Position Summary
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing a high volume of agreements across the full contract lifecycle, supporting Legal and business stakeholders with efficient, scalable contracting processes. This role serves as a key operational partner to Legal, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and business teams and plays a central role in administering and optimizing the company’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform.
 
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment, and experienced in contract lifecycle management, commercial agreements, and legal operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management & Negotiation
  • Manage high‑volume commercial contracts across the full lifecycle, including intake, drafting, review, negotiation, execution, and post‑execution administration
  • Draft, review, and negotiate Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Consulting, Statements of Work (SOWs), Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs), amendments, and related commercial agreements
  • Ensure contracts align with company policies, risk tolerance, and legal requirements
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) & Process Optimization
  • Serve as system owner and primary administrator for the Linksquares platform, including workflows, templates, metadata, and contract repository management
  • Configure, maintain, and continuously improve contracting workflows and intake processes in alignment with Legal and business requirements
  • Support contract execution through DocuSign integration and ensure executed agreements are accurately stored and tracked
  • Provide comprehensive audit and clean-up of database
Contract Migration & Data Integrity
  • Lead the migration, normalization, and standardization of contracts into the system
  • Improve data consistency, reporting accuracy, and operational visibility across the contract portfolio
  • Maintain audit‑ready contract records and support internal or external audits as needed
Legal Operations & Corporate Governance Support
  • Support Legal leadership with corporate governance documentation, creation and maintenance of corporate data sheets, consent tracker, D&O slate
  • Organize and maintain BOD meeting minutes
  • Assist with reporting, metrics, and documentation supporting Legal operations and leadership decision‑making
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and business stakeholders to streamline contracting processes and improve turnaround times
  • Train and provide guidance on contracting processes and serve as a point of contact for contract‑related questions
 
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform (Linksquares or related platform preferred)
  • Experience managing high contract volumes in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred
  • Experience supporting Legal teams in a pharmaceutical, or regulated industry
  • Experience with large‑scale contract migrations
  • Familiarity with corporate governance documentation and processes
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Finance, Procurement, and Compliance

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Bridgewater, NJ based position is $105,000 - $145,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee on the payment date.

Physical requirements
This role will follow a hybrid work schedule, requiring three (3) onsite days per week at our Bridgewater, NJ office.
