Starting Pay: $83k DOE
Who We Need  
Responsible for development and support of a high-performance outpatient team to ensure efficient and effective operations of the Copa Health Homes. The Program Director has an overarching supervisory role for all staff within the Health Home/(OTC), and is responsible for managing staff performance, KPIs, strategic initiative, and fostering of culture of in line with Copa Health’s core values. In collaboration with the Clinical Director the Program Director provides leadership, planning, and administrative support to ensure daily operations, services, and environments meet the highest levels of quality and performance consistent with the Copa policies, and within ADHS, RBHA, CMS, and other state established standards. The Program Director will work collaboratively with the Clinical Director on all operational aspects of the business such as: assures compliance with budgets, coordinates clinical and case management services, oversees staff supervision, coordinates care with community/state organizations and implements and enforces Copa policies and procedures.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field required and a minimum of (5) years or more experience in behavioral health.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/program management experience required.
  • Licensed as a LPC, LISAC, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist required.
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by Arizona Department of Public safety or eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire.
  • Must have valid AZ Driver’s License, state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain the company’s acceptable driving requirements.
JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to):  
  • Monitors member engagement goals for all staff and collective health home, proactively addresses underperformance, and oversees the coaching and progressive management process to ensure engagement goals are met.
  • Consistently communicates the Copa Health vision and mission to staff and behavioral health recipients. Facilitates the integration of a recovery philosophy and the Principles for Persons with a serious mental illness into everyday clinical practice and clinic operations. Success will be measured through the key outcomes valued by the organization: (1) jobs and employment, (2) education and schooling, (3) health and wellness, and (4) achieving a home of one’s choice.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings in collaboration with the campus leadership to discuss plans, outline new goals and objectives, review problem areas and solutions, and disseminate administrative information.
  • Provides administrative and logistical support to Health Home/(OTC) leadership team for all clinical initiatives, clinical services provided, clinical supervision, educational/training activities, etc.
  • Monitors, tracks and trends clinical service delivery to ensure the services continue to match the needs of the service recipients served at the campus.
  • Maintains a system of communications and reporting between all staff members, as well as with other Copa Health sites and departments involved in the ongoing operation of the program.
  • Manages annual budget, assesses staffing and scheduling practices for cost effectiveness and maintains accountability for assigned site's operating budgets.
  • In conjunction with the Clinical Director, the Program Director participates in recruitment, training, professional development and performance evaluation and management of Health Home/OTC staff.
  • Ensures adequate staffing and scheduling practices to meet the needs of service recipients.
  • Analyzes facts, establishes best practices, identifies performance gaps and operational barriers and offers solutions according to departmental need and facility policies within scope of the position. In addition, facilitates special tasks to support the analysis and management of service.
  • Identifies and manages multiple priorities such as maintaining 24 hour a week on call, recognizing unusual and emergency situations; notifies appropriate personnel and follows through.
  • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
