Why This Role Matters
Copa Health is seeking an experienced Director of Grants & Fund Development to lead fundraising and grant strategies that expand behavioral health, integrated healthcare, housing, and human services across Arizona. This is a high-impact leadership role for a mission-driven professional who excels in grant development, donor engagement, and strategic partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Lead grant development and fund development strategies aligned with organizational priorities
- Secure funding from government, foundation, corporate, and individual donors
- Write, submit, and manage grant proposals, budgets, and compliance reporting
- Cultivate and steward donor and community relationships
- Partner with executive leadership, program teams, and finance
- Attend off-site meetings, donor visits, and community events as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 7–10 years of nonprofit fund development and grant writing experience
- Demonstrated success securing government and foundation funding
- Strong writing, project management, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred
