Starting pay: $16.63
Who We Need
The Section Supervisor will ensure the provision of quality services in the Work Adjustment Training (WAT) program in the Employment Related Services department, providing coverage on-site as needed and for community enclaves as assigned. Coordinate the daily crew activities for the WAT enclave, including training and supervising crew on-site or at enclave, ensuring we meet the company’s quality, quantity and timeline standards. Develop and maintain a successful business relationship with companies we are providing work for. Document work completed for monthly billing. Provide training and orientation on assigned tasks to all participants as needed. Track daily work, activities, goals, observations, engagement, interactions and document daily on electronic records in Nextgen. Adhere to the philosophy of normalization and community integration as appropriate for assigned individuals. Attend meetings on assigned caseload as needed; communicate with clinical team on any concerns and or accomplishments presenting information in a professional manner. Be aware of individuals’ physical restrictions and medical concerns. Be aware of normal safety routines and procedures as they apply to worksite settings. Ensure that all equipment utilized is properly maintained.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
- Must have 1 year of experience in behavioral health, rehabilitation or employment services (prefer 3 years)
- Satisfactory work record as determined by the People First/Human Resources Department.
- Successful completion of Copa’s training program
- Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire. (If a Good Cause Exception is required, this must be taken care of BEFORE hire date.)
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
- TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually
- Must be an authorized driver, which includes a valid AZ Driver’s License, state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain Copa’s acceptable driving requirements
JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to):
- Ensure the maintenance of departmental operations to achieve compliance with contract requirements, accreditation, licensing and monitoring standards, agency procedures, Federal/State/Local regulations and all other licensing/regulatory agencies as directed. Adhere to current training requirements and applicable accreditation and licensing/regulatory standards and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Health Information Technology for Economic Clinical Health (HITECH ) requirements.
- Coordinate information and contribute to the successful resolution of challenges. Communicate with integrity and honesty, clearly and concisely, and in a respectful manner to all team members. Ensure the confidentiality of written, verbal and electronic communications pertaining to members, staff, families of consumers and agency operations.
- Demonstrate and maintain professional, respectful, productive working relationships with all agency departments, staff, board members, funding sources, individuals receiving services, families utilizing or enquiring about services, customers and the community.
- Help to develop and implement Recovery Vision. Adhere to the philosophy of normalization. Attend staffing’s on assigned caseload, presenting information in a professional manner while actively involving individual and other members of the team. Facilitate staffings as assigned, making certain that all documentation is completed according to State of Arizona and CARF standards.
- Document daily progress notes, contact notes, no-bill notes, transportation notes and/or incident reports as needed. Review records of assigned individuals, including funding source guidelines. Provide assistance and coverage during staff shortages as needed.
- Ensure the accurate completion of administrative tasks to include monthly summaries, attendance, member timesheets, shippers, inventory reports and workstation billing.
- Attend meetings and actively participate in internal and external committees. Perform special projects and committee tasks when applicable.
- Demonstrate knowledge of modern principles, methods and techniques of administration and program planning and implementation. Demonstrate ability to develop and revise departmental systems. Maintain knowledge of resources that serve individuals with disabilities. Demonstrate knowledge of funding sources.
