Who We Need

As a Campus Ambassador, you are the main face of the clinic and represents all 6 of Copa Health's core values to the fullest degree! You are friendly, helpful, and a positive communicator as this role is responsible for assisting and helping people on the campus get to their destination with a warm getting and help if needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • HS Diploma/GED and six (6) months customer service experience
  • TB test clearance required at the time of hire and annually 
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks if hire
  • Satisfactory work record as determined by the People First Department 
JOB SUMMARY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
  • Guides participants, family, and guests to Copa Health West Valley’s main lobby to be checked in. May assist with guiding EMS or Fire Department through back entrance if necessary.
  • Ensures participants are not wandering to other suites in the building and are not loitering in building’s main lobby or restrooms.
  • Shows participants and guests where the designated smoking areas are located.
  • Ensures the flow of drivers dropping off participants goes uninterrupted and informs the drivers were they are and are not able to park. (No parking and waiting in the front of the building).
  • Answers basic questions about services that are provided, hours of operation and who to contact if there are any issues or concerns.
  • Tries to ensure that safety protocols are being followed and brings any issues to the attention of campus leadership.
  • Helps keep lobby and smoking areas clear of debris.
  • Serves as a positive role model demonstrating professional and caring attitudes and behaviors toward co-workers, participants, and guests.
  • Courteously provides assistance in a concise, informative manner, keeping a positive attitude, courteous tone and appropriate communication skills.
  • Follows Copa Health and campus policies and procedures in a responsible manner consistent with organizational mission, vision, and values.
  • Attends and participates in the campus safety committee.
  • Adheres to attendance and punctuality policy.
  • Dresses in an appropriate manner with the nature of work performed (Slacks, Polo Shirt and toe covered shoes)
  • To ensure adequate compliance to the department and business needs, other duties may be assigned.
Standard work schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm 
Requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, frequent bending, stooping, or stretching and sitting.. Lifting may be required. Work is performed in an office setting. Exposed to outside weather conditions
