Hourly Pay Rate: $14.35 to $16.28hr
**Personal vehicle required to transport members to appointments.
**Fingerprint Clearance Card Required or in the process of the good cause exception.
** Peer Recovery certification required or able to complete Peer Recovery Certification through Copa upon hire within 90-days.

Who We Need
Immediately Hiring Peer Recovery Coaches for our Glendale location, Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Assist in implementing a consistent and quality program at assigned work sites in accordance with the agency’s mission statement with an emphasis on maintaining the orderly functioning of services through the implementation of current procedures and applicable standards and regulations. Assist in implementing a quality program which promotes person-centered planning and clinically appropriate practices including the following Principles for serving individuals with a mental illness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be at least 21 years old and requires a High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma,)
- Peer Support Certification, is preferred
- Upon hire, employees without the Peer Support Certification will have 90-days from the date of hire, to complete the Peer Support Certification training, offered within Copa Health
- Must have personal lived experience based on the AHCCCS requirements to take peer support certification course
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One fingerprint clearance and meet agency personnel requirements as applicable.
- Ability to meet Copa Health driver eligibility requirements, as applicable. Including; current AZ driver’s license and a clean 39-month driving record, reliable transportation, current AZ Registration and insurance.
- This position requires travel in the community; using your personal vehicle, consisting of 80% field based work and 20% office based.
- Physical requirements; ability to stoop, stand, bend twist, lift, push, pull and walk. 70-90% of assigned work is spent walking/standing. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
- Provide/obtain proof of a negative TB screening or chest x-ray, as applicable.

- Serve as a true coach to those looking to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist in advocating, implementing and coordinating a proactive array of comprehensive, individualized services for program participants.
- Performs administrative work in support of the program.
- Demonstrate excellent oral, written and electronic communication skills.
- Ensure the coordination of information and confidentiality of communications within the agency.
- Demonstrate and maintain professional and productive working relationships with all agency departments, staff, board members and community.
- Communicate pertinent information via the Encounter Log and/or Progress notes.
- Ensure the maintenance of departmental operations to achieve compliance with CARF accreditation, contract requirements, licensure, CSA, and federal/state/local regulations and all other licensing/regulatory agencies as directed.
- Provide services that are recovery oriented, person centered, incorporates developmentally/age-appropriate treatment, and are culturally sensitive.
- Assist in accessing community services/resources.
- Assist individuals with identification of vocational/educational/training resources.
- Recognize members physical restrictions, medical concerns and crisis intervention plans.
- Ensure the implementation of the members self-directed Recovery Vision objectives.
- Attend Clinical Staffing meetings.
- Provide assistance in acting as a liaison for individual and family if required.
- To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
