Copa Health is seeking a full-time Recruitment Specialist to join our People First team in Mesa, Arizona. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping connect great people with meaningful careers that make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. 
 
This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. The Recruitment Specialist will support high-volume recruiting efforts, candidate engagement, onboarding activities, and recruitment operations while partnering with hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring process.
 
What You'll Do
  • Review applications and screen candidates for minimum qualifications
  • Conduct phone screenings and candidate outreach
  • Support recruiting efforts for high-volume positions across the organization
  • Manage candidate activity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Coordinate candidate communications throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with job postings, sourcing, and recruitment initiatives
  • Participate in hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach activities
  • Support onboarding activities and provide backup onboarding coverage as needed
  • Assist with background checks, pre-employment requirements, and new hire preparation
  • Help create a positive candidate and new hire experience from application through onboarding
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or coursework in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • One year of experience in recruitment, onboarding, customer service, administrative support, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or high-volume environments is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
