Copa Health is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Metro Outpatient Clinic located near 31st Avenue and Peoria in Phoenix. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in an integrated primary care and behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and committed to improving health outcomes for a diverse member population.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of members across the lifespan.
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in collaboration with physicians, behavioral health providers, nursing staff, and care coordination teams.
  • Conduct evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care in alignment with evidence-based practice and organizational standards.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Participate in integrated care team meetings, quality initiatives, and performance improvement projects.
  • Promote whole-person wellness through education, prevention, and culturally responsive care.
 
What We’re Looking For
  • Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the State of Arizona.
  • Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • National certification (NCCPA).
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Experience in outpatient primary care preferred; behavioral health or integrated care experience a plus.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative approach to team-based care.
