 Who We Need
The Section Supervisor oversees quality services in the Work Adjustment Training (WAT) program, managing daily crew activities at the Leisure World café or other enclaves. Responsibilities include training and supervising staff, maintaining quality and timeline standards, fostering positive business relationships with Leisure World, documenting work for monthly billing, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have 1 year of experience in behavioral health, rehabilitation or employment services (prefer 3 years)
  • Must have 1 year experience in food service.
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire. (If a Good Cause Exception is required, this must be taken care of BEFORE hire date.)
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
  • TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually.
  • Must be an authorized driver, which includes a valid AZ Driver’s License, state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain Copas acceptable driving requirements.

JOB SUMMARY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Maintain departmental operations to ensure compliance with contracts, accreditation, licensing, monitoring standards, agency procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Follow training requirements and adhere to accreditation, licensing standards, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance.  
  •  
    Collaborate to resolve challenges effectively, communicating with integrity, clarity, and respect. 
  • Safeguard confidentiality in all forms of communication related to members, staff, families, and agency operations.  
    Foster professional, respectful, and productive relationships with agency departments, staff, board members, funding sources, service recipients, families, customers, and the community.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Recovery Vision and adhere to the philosophy of normalization.

    Participate in staffing's for assigned caseloads, presenting information professionally and involving team members.
  • Facilitate assigned staffing's, ensuring documentation aligns with Arizona state and CARF standards.  
  •  
    Complete and review documentation, including daily progress notes, contact notes, transportation records, and incident reports. Assist with reviewing individual records and funding source requirements and provide coverage during staff shortages.  
  •  
    Accurately perform administrative tasks such as monthly summaries, attendance tracking, timesheets, inventory reports, and workstation billing.

    Additional duties may be assigned to ensure compliance and meet program or departmental needs.
