WE ARE LOOKING FOR FT/PRN BHT II DIFFERENT SHIFTS AVAILABLE! 
Starting Pay: $20/hour
Who We Need
Provides quality services to empower and support individuals with mental health disabilities live an everyday lifestyle. Services are provided in congregate residential setting. A BHT promotes active treatment and a positive environment for individuals as identified in their treatment plan / behavior plan.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum HS diploma/GED and two (2) – three (3) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
  • An associate degree and one (1) - two (2) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree (related or non-related) in the behavioral health field plus one (1) year of relevant experience in behavioral health.
  • Experience in working with multi-cultural and low socio-economic individuals.
  • Must have a current a valid level one state fingerprint clearance without restrictions or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid AZ Driver’s License with state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain Copa Health’s acceptable driving requirements.
JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to): 
  • Provide consistent monitoring to the wellbeing of the individuals served to provide a positive, supportive and structured environment.
  • Assist, teach, coach, and mentor individuals in skills of daily living to include but is not limited to housekeeping, personal hygiene and grooming, budgeting, shopping, community activities and community resources to achieve treatment goals identified in the individuals treatment plan, behavior plan, or vision recovery.
  • Provide consistent monitoring of the member(s) activities & behaviors during assigned shift to ensure services that maintain the safety and wellbeing of all person(s) served.
  •  Assist clients in the self-administration of medication and corresponding records.
  • Safely transport members to and from their living environment and any scheduled appointments.
  • Demonstrate skills in planning, implementing, and coordinating health promotion strategies including health and wellness activities.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of menus consisting of well-balanced meals and meeting applicable diet needs as required.
  • Document timely, accurate an appropriate clinical information in the individuals’ clinical record.
  • Maintain billable hourly requirements as assigned.
  • Assures positive member outcomes by providing exceptional member care and completion of timely documentation of services by meeting optimal engagement and performance standards as outlined by Copa’s policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
  • Reports potential infections, infestations, accidents, and incidents completing applicable reporting paperwork and reporting procedures.
  • Adherence to all agency policies, licensure, and training requirements.
  • To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
