The Atlassian Solutions Architect will be primarily responsible for working with clients and providing solutions architecture, demonstrations, and overviews of the Atlassian Tools (Jira Software, Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, and more). The Atlassian Solutions Architect will work with Account Executives (AE’s) to develop SOWs, provide walkthroughs of SOWs, and coordinate with Professional Services for additional technical discussions as required.


  • Develop and maintain client relationships through demonstrating expertise in the Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Provide demonstrations and detailed overviews of Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence, Status Page, OpsGenie and comparison with other tools on the marketplace to clients during the sales process.
  • Engage directly with new leads and existing clients to discuss their ITSM, Scaled Agile, and Atlassian needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Atlassian ITSM Overlays and EA’s.
  • Build a multi-million-dollar pipeline for Atlassian related deals; including Licenses, Services, Training, and Support.
  • Participate in sales calls with clients; providing Solution Architecture and designs for clients looking to implement the Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Create and update draft presentations, SOWs, and proposals for client consumption.
  • Act as overlay for Enterprise Sales Mangers.
  • Train Contegix sales team members on the Atlassian Tool Suite; including important features to highlight in a sales call along with key add-ons and apps needed for a full JSM implementation.
  • Track and report opportunities using MS Dynamics and Jira. Report on opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team on a weekly basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
  • Working hours are 8 hours a day with a 30 min non-paid lunch break. However, as we are IT it's expected that night/weekend work will be required for Production Deployments and ADHOC items as they arise. Contegix will do its best to ensure all after hours tasks are scheduled, with the understanding that this cannot be guaranteed.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
  • Experience implementing the Atlassian Tools across multiple environments, including Cloud Migrations and ESM / ITSM implementations is required.
  • Ability to create simple and complex Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes is required.
  • Atlassian Professional Certifications are preferred.
  • Travel (U.S. and Canada) could be expected - approximately 15%. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and process implementation skills.
