Salary Range: $100k-145k

Sign-On Bonus: $1000

City, State: Torrance, CA

Retention Bonus: Available

Shift Times: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F

Flex Time Off 6 Weeks

Essential Duties: The Consulting Psychologist participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team to address the ongoing needs of regional center clients in multiple environments and provides advice and guidance based on psychological assessments.  The psychologist provides consultation relative to psychological assessments and diagnosis for staff, family, and service providers. 

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Ph. D or Psy. D in Psychology

License:

  • Current registration with the California Board of Psychology as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Current AHA-approved BLS/CPR certification.
  • Current valid CA driver’s license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration

Experience:

  • Three or more years of recent clinical experience as a psychologist
  • Experience with psychological assessment of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism and intellectual disabilities.
  • Direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience working with families from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
