Hourly Range: $55-$60

Shift Times: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Essential Duties: 

The therapist performs and interprets assessments and renders therapeutic treatment to consumers. 

The Psychologist may perform behavioral evaluations and counseling services in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Director and/or Psychiatrist. 

The Psychologist determines psychiatric and counseling needs and provides therapeutic services.

The therapist administers and interprets assessments, develops and provides treatment for persons served.

The therapist participates in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities as required.

The therapist works under minimal supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.        

The therapist trains staff and monitors programs for compliance and efficacy.  

The therapist participates in IDT/ISP meetings to facilitate diagnosis and treatment planning.

The therapist maintains open and regular communication with the other departments, IDTs and administration to ensure the transfer of needed information and continuity of services.

The therapist will be responsible for documentation in IRIS 

The therapist may supervise the work of others.  

 

Qualifications: Licensed as a Psychologist by the State of Texas or reciprocity state
