Essential Duties:

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical
Services will coordinate psychology services requested by CA Regional Center staff related to eligibility and program needs, provide consultation to regional center staff on psychological issues, serve as an in-house resource to assure that vendors that provide psychological evaluation reports meet standards, and participate in Association of Regional Center Agencies (ARCA) Regional Center Psychologists group meetings and community and statewide committees. Provide training and consultation for clinical and client services staff and collaborate with community partners.

Education:

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited educational facility

Licensure:

  • Licensed to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or public agency. A significant portion of this time should have been spent in the evaluation and/or treatment of people with developmental disabilities. 
  • Must have experience in functioning as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. Management experience preferred. 
  • Position requires reliable and timely transportation to perform regular job duties on a routine basis out of the office.
