 In response to incredible corporate growth, The Columbus Organization seeks a FT, experienced Recruitment Specialist in our Behavioral Health Division. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in full-cycle recruitment and a confident self-starter who can independently navigate the daily challenges in the staffing industry.  

A strong focus will be placed on being an exceptional communicator with superb relationship-building skills that will translate well to clients and candidates. In addition, the ideal candidate must be versatile in varying recruitment platforms: long-term/permanent and short-term/per diem placements.

The position is a full-time, remote opportunity offering a competitive annual salary with a bonus plan complimented by a comprehensive benefits package.

Essential Duties:

  • The primary function is to serve as a full cycle recruiter for Columbus's Professional Clinical Staffing Team-Behavioral Health Division.
  • Identify and recruit qualified behavioral health professionals for contracted assignments.
  • Proactively contact and recruit prospective candidates to establish relationships, understand their employment needs, and qualify them for career opportunities.
  • Generate leads through various recruitment channels, strategic planning, and referrals
  • Formulate and implement recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals who meet our client's immediate and projected needs.
  • Proven success in sourcing and recruiting mental health providers with a focus on clinical psychologists.
  • Matches and evaluates candidate skills to client needs through screening and interviewing process.
  • Validates that candidates meet required hiring standards for Columbus and applicable contracts
  • Effectively source, screen, and select highly qualified candidates for all open positions. 
  • Manage the entire life cycle recruiting process, serving in a consultative capacity to hiring managers and providing the highest level of recruitment services to hiring managers and candidates.
  • Responsible for building an effective talent pipeline that is aligned with our client’s needs
  • Maintains regular contact and develops relationships with candidates and clients to identify current staffing needs and requirements, projected openings, and potential new business opportunities. Documents candidate, field staff, and client correspondence and activities within the system of record
  • Client-centered mentality and passion for customer service
  • Attend conferences and workshops applicable to recruitment needs and professional development
  • Assist with general marketing of medical and educational services as requested
  • Continuously performs market research and compensation reviews within an assigned territory or business line
  • Strong motivation to achieve results and meeting recruiting goals
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience instead of a degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of full life-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare and/or educational settings
  • Staffing industry experience required
  • Proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems
  • Detailed oriented, well-organized, and a self-starter
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Must work well under pressure with demanding hiring deadlines
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excel at relationship building
  • Must be a team player, work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Possess basic skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Meet and exceed baseline KPIs for monthly staffing requirement/s on placements of candidates on assignment/s.
