Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
 
Responsibilities
Care Coordination
  • Acts as office receptionist.  Gives information to state officials and the public regarding the services rendered by the agency or the state, and general information concerning the location and services offered by other community or state agencies.
  • Screens individuals and calls by securing information so that they may be given correct information or by directing them to an appropriate source.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Types form letters, reports, forms, schedules, records, and other documents.
  • Assembles and summarizes information from files for the supervisor's use on the basis of general instructions as to the nature of the information needed.
  • Electronically files general office material and perform other routine office duties
  • Assists in the coordination, control, and completion of special projects as requested.
  • Protects the privacy and security of information about our company’s operations, employees, survey respondents, and individuals at all times.
  • Maintains an inventory of needed supplies
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Experience
  • Three years of secretarial or office clerical work experience
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent can substitute for one year of the required work experience.
