Annual Pay Rate:  $44,000 to $46,000
Sign-On Bonus:  $1,000     

        Shifts:  Day Shift

         Work Schedule:  Full-Time

Facility Physical Environment: School Based

Essential Duties:
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and communication needs of students with speech and language disorders. Working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in the treatment and documentation of speech and language disorders in a school setting.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for certification.
  • Knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with students of varying ages and diverse backgrounds.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record-keeping and progress monitoring.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus.
