IT Vendor Management Associate

POSITION OVERVIEW: The IT Vendor Management Associate supports the administration and performance management of CMG Financial’s technology vendors. This role assists in evaluating vendor relationships, monitoring service levels, coordinating contract renewals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and risk standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT leadership and risk management teams to maintain strong vendor partnerships that align with CMG’s business and technology goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Vendor Onboarding Support
- Collects required documentation (certifications, insurance, security questionnaires).
- Helps set up new vendors in procurement systems.
- Contract & Documentation Tracking
- Monitors renewal dates, compliance certificates, and contract obligations.
- Maintains vendor files, scorecards, and audit trails.
- Performance Monitoring Support
- Assists in tracking service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepares reports or dashboards for senior vendor managers.
- Risk & Compliance Checks
- Helps with vendor due diligence (financial checks, regulatory checks, cybersecurity assessments).
- Coordinates with risk or compliance teams for approvals.
- Day-to-Day Communication
- Acts as a point of contact for routine vendor questions.
- Escalates issues to Vendor Relationship Managers or Procurement Leads.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain.
- Experience: 2–5 years in vendor management, procurement, IT governance, or risk management.
- Experience in IT sourcing, third-party audits, or contract management is highly valued.
- Detail-oriented and organized in managing multiple vendors
- Analytical mindset to interpret performance and risk data
- Collaborative and customer-service oriented
- Ethical and compliance-conscious, with strong judgment

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
Base Compensation Information – This role is currently allocated for candidates within geographic regions that do not currently require base wage disclosure. The compensation range for this position will be provided upon request. (Due to their geographic location, residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City are excluded from this role at this time.)
