Are you someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and being a key part of a successful team? As a Loan Officer Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in creating a smooth, positive experience for our clients while supporting a high-performing Loan Officer throughout the loan process.

 

You’ll be the go-to person for clients, helping guide them from application through closing, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you’re detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.

 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Order initial 3rd party services to include appraisals, title, verification of employment, and initiate internal condo approvals 
  • Manage and communicate with the entire TBD pre-approved pipeline to ensure the highest possible capture rates.  
  • Collect and review client documentation 
  • Review income calculations including verification software programs and AUS 
  • Submit loan documentation to processing from ratification to close 
  • Gather Loan Agent PTD and PTF conditions 
  • Submit requests for Rapid Rescores when required 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage industry preferred. 
  • Familiarity with mortgage terminology. 
  • An active NMLS license required – sponsorship will be provided if you do not currently possess a license. Virginia state licensed MLO is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to cover from time to time with upfront originations 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. is preferred but not required.  
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment. 
  • Spanish Speaking/Bilingual would be helpful

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This role operates in an ADA-compliant office environment and utilizes typical office equipment, including computers and other standard office technology. The position may involve periods of stationary work as well as movement throughout the office during the day. Flexibility to work overtime, as needed, to meet business or project deadlines may be required.

 

Base Compensation Information – For residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City + other areas requiring disclosure:

 

CMG pays a competitive salary around $55,000 annually plus a bonus and possible overtime. Factors that affect base salary may include: overall mortgage experience, number of years worked in mortgage industry, types of roles performed, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
