YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
As Bayer Crop Science's digital farming arm, we advance regenerative agriculture and technology breakthroughs using the latest agronomic science, data science, engineering, and real-world farming experience. With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in ag 
  
The Grower Engagement and Support professional will join the Grower Support & Services team within the Carbon organization to serve growers and provide a positive experience while ensuring Bayer is recognized as a true value proposition to their grower business 
  • Develop and implement grower acquisition, support and retention strategies with key stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer targets are achieved; 
  • Contribute to customer journey to increase grower satisfaction
  • Execute initiatives to drive program re-enrollment and retention by participating growers; 
  • Collaborate with growers to develop program improvements for subsequent program years;
  • Support growers through all stages of the program directly and through stakeholder engagement;
  • Be flexible to support critical grower-facing projects when needed 
  
WHO YOU ARE 
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
 
Required qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture systems, crop science, business, environmental science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, marketing and/ or product management, customer service or digital agriculture
  • Demonstrated experience providing growers with support and clear communication
  • Results driven with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
Preferred qualifications
  • Primary location in IL, IN, OH, (Eastern) MO, or (Eastern) IA
  • Demonstrated behavior(s): Focus on delivering outcomes, creating success, and driving value for the grower services and support team by:
    • Takes ownership of responsibilities and is accountable for actions
    • Strong focus on enhancing customer value and supporting growers within the program
    • Flexible and adapts quickly to changes to support critical grower-facing projects
    • Excels in collaboration and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork
  • Masters degree/ MBA in agriculture systems, crop science, business, environmental science, or related field with 10 years' experience in sales, marketing and/ or product management, customer service, or digital agriculture
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills to onboard, motivate, and engage others both in and outside the organization
  • Experience with managing on-farm data, including exporting, importing, and editing agriculture data within various digital agriculture platforms; specifically with a strong understanding in Climate Fieldview
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and support resources and/ or customers using proper CRM systems or applicable tools
  • Data-driven professional with proven experience to think critically and analytically by adjusting behavior or strategy to align with qualitative and quantitative information
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of agriculture, rural lifestyles, and the grower customer journey to effectively build relationships and guide commercial tactics on growers' acquisition and support
  • Fundamental knowledge and/ or experience to understand the sales environment and best practices
  • Understanding of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting frameworks, agricultural carbon markets, and sustainable farming practices  
WHAT WE OFFER 
Base salary estimated range between $110,880 - $155,320 annually, depending on the hiring location. You may also be offered bonuses, RSUs cash equivalent, or commission.
