Commercial Loan Officer II

Description

OBJECTIVE
Primarily responsible for meeting business development loan goals through an active calling program to develop business relationships.  Will be required to identify needs of the business and individuals to provide solutions and cross-sell appropriate Loan, Deposit, Cash Management, Clearview partner, and Wealth Management services. Maintain a strong, professional image in the local community through involvement with community organizations and committees.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in business or equivalent combination of education
  • Formal certifications highly preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in business member relationship management
  • Prior sales management and/or Community Board Level Involvement strongly preferred
  • Usually manages smaller sized loan portfolios ($35M – $75M)
  • Excellent knowledge of the business industry and corresponding loan products
  • Exceptional PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Loan Production – 75%
    • Responsible for developing, managing and maintaining business relationships, utilizing a follow-up calling program for continuous development of business lending relationships
    • Drive loan portfolio and organizational revenue growth by meeting, recommending, and advising business prospects (or existing member business owners) on loan products
    • Consistently meet 100% of loan production and referral goals set
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and guidelines to mitigate risk
    • Review and monitor competitor offerings and rates, making recommendations to management to help streamline product offerings and create and maintain a competitive advantage
  • Member and Employee Experience – 10%
    • Represents the credit union in the community through extraordinary member relations and integrity  
  • Community Engagement & Brand Awareness– 10%
    • Participate in and support Clearview’s commitment to the communities we serve
    • Actively talk about Clearview and work as a brand ambassador for the organization
  • Other Duties as assigned – 5%
