OBJECTIVE

Work with members to understand their individual needs and situation. Focus primarily on originating new purchase loans, refinancing existing loans, and offering Home Equity loan solutions while maintaining consistent communication and working diligently with every member to deliver exceptional member service. Build relationships with members, future members, business partners, and referral sources to drive growth for the organization and its membership. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer
  • Must have current NMLS# 
  • Proven ability to look for solutions beyond an original request
  • Proven decision-making and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and excellent follow through techniques
  • In depth knowledge of mortgage products as well as Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Demonstrates ability to be adaptable
  • Strong experience using various software programs
  • Demonstrates general knowledge of or willingness to learn how AI tools are being used in a responsible way to improve results, adapt workflows, and support a culture of innovation. 
  • Excellent communication and service skills both internally and externally

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Mortgage Loan Production and Product Sales
    • Review advanced loan applications, working with members to identify additional solutions
    • Discuss solutions with members, acting in a consultative role as the lending expert 
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies and procedures. 
    • Consistently demonstrate ability to achieve established goals, consistently achieving at least 100% of established goals for production and product sales
    • Attend required meetings, classes, trainings, and complete the minimum Linked-In Learning Career Pathing courses for personal and skill development
    • Position specific requirements may be appended as necessary
  • Member and Employee Experience
    • Promote a team environment and provide suggestions for improving lending processes
    • Coach, counsel, and educate members on credit worthiness 
    • Communicate with members regarding additional information needed to reach a loan decision or find alternative solutions, keeping the member experience top of mind
  • Community Engagement & Brand Awareness
    • Participate in and support Clearview’s commitment to the communities we serve
    • Actively talk about Clearview and work as a brand ambassador for the organization
  • Other Duties as assigned
