For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have developmental disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.

We are searching for a Occupational Therapist for Prospect Child and Family Center, in Queensbury N.Y.

This position follows a school calendar with a mandatory six weeks summer school session. 

 Compensation for this position is $70,219-$76,713. Commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Contributes to the mission of the Center, Clinical Department and assigned programs.
• Works collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all students served and their families.

Requirements:

•  NYS Licensure and registration to practice Occupational Therapy
• Professional experience working with children and/or young adults with developmental, physical, neurological disorders and individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders is preferred.
• Professional experience providing Occupational Therapy Services in a school based setting is preferred.
• Less than 1 year job related experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
