For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.

We are searching for a Residential Support Specialist to join our agency.

 

The Residential Support Specialist supports the mission and goals of the agency by assisting one or more programs and its functions, which include the oversight of regulatory compliance, Individual satisfaction, assist the management team with communication to families, a positive community image, and adherence to program budgets and policies.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provides and promotes independence in individual’s daily support needs, care, and provision of services
  • Promotes independence, community inclusion, individualization, and productivity
  • Assist the Administrator of Residential Services (ARS) and Program Manager to ensure all agency and regulatory compliance is maintained
  • Assist the team to ensure physical plant and related areas are operating well to meet the needs of individuals supported
  • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of various records and ensuring that the program and individuals have their needs, wants and services provided to them in the highest quality and manner

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Minimum of one year of related experience, specifically in human services

Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.
