The Best People

Castle Group’s greatest resource is the people who make up its workforce. We’re not just a company, we’re an organization of highly-skilled individuals who are dedicated to delivering quality property management service to Florida’s luxury property residents. If you’ve been invited to participate in an interview, keep in mind that this is an exciting time for everyone involved. We are always looking to expand our pool of talent, and as a prospective employee, you will have the chance to meet new people at the top of their game.

We use interviews to find out who you are and what motivates you. We want to see if you understand our business and what the job entails. This is an opportunity for us to show you what Castle offers and for you to show us what you could bring to the table.

Every interview is different. Your discussion will depend on what the job requires and who you are. Anticipate the questions you might be asked by reading through the application materials and the job description. If you were meeting yourself for the first time, what questions would you ask?

What We Look For

Your initial job application and resume told us one story about you. In interviews, we are looking for you to expound on that story. We want you to articulate everything you've listed on your resume, and go into details if prompted to. Know your strengths, and also identify areas you want to develop. You may be asked about situations when you have used particular skills or asked to demonstrate your problem-solving skills. Be prepared to talk about past experiences that demonstrate why you would be a great addition to Castle Group. Present a diverse background of experiences by highlighting relevant jobs, projects, coursework, and extracurricular activities. Tell us why YOU are the right person for the job.

Afterwards, we may ask you to participate in a formal, first-round interview – which could be over the phone, or in-person. Secondary and final interviews are held at our offices or at one of our various sites.

Your Personal Brand

We all have a personal brand. What makes you unique? Envision the impression you want to make. Your interviewers are meeting several candidates. How do you want to differentiate yourself from them and be remembered? Present yourself professionally. Be conscious of your body language, maintain eye contact, and let the interviewer finish their thought before you respond. Practice interviewing beforehand, whether in front of a mirror or with another person. Get comfortable speaking about yourself. It’s important to be genuine, enthusiastic and stay true to who you really are.

Your Interests

What drives you? Have a compelling reason for why you want to work in this industry, for our company, and in the department that you’re interested in. Passion is imperative, and showing us that you are motivated to fulfill the responsibilities of the job you seek will make you feel like the right choice. Show how the position you are interviewing for aligns with your goals and expertise. Express your interest by asking the interviewer questions that are relevant and specific. And detail what knowledge you’ve gained from this interest, whether through experience and education, and how you can use that in the role you have applied for.

Interview Tips

Interview Tips

Don’t show up to your interview as a job applicant – show up as a job appliCAN! Below are a handful of tips that will help you ace your interview:

1. Practice answering common job interview questions to yourself. Think of concrete examples you would use to highlight your skills. And have a list of your own questions to ask the interviewer.

2. Research Castle Group. “Do your homework” about where we provide service, who our competitors are, and what role you will plan in making us competitive within the industry. Also, if you learn the interviewer's name, be sure to use it during the job interview.

3. Your interview begins the moment you arrive at the company. Get to the interview between 5 and 10 minutes early to make a good first impression. Be dressed neatly and professionally. Have copies of your resume, as well as a pen and paper to take notes.

4. During the job interview try to relax and stay as calm possible. Remember that your body language says as much about you as your answers to the questions. Avoid looking nervous or shy; exude confidence.

5. Follow up with a thank you note, expressing gratitude for the opportunity, and reiterating your interest in the position. A thank you note via email works well, so be sure to get the email address of everyone you have interviewed with prior to leaving.
