Manages Data Reporting Functions
- Plans, manages, and controls analyst activities providing business intelligence and strategic planning support.
- Oversees development, implementation, and maintenance of internal management reporting and analysis.
- Develops user-friendly analytical dashboards, data visualization, and reporting tools that deliver actionable insights.
- Advises business leaders with data-driven strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
- Oversees research on competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging technology in auto insurance marketplaces.
- Collaborates with Sales, Analytics, and Product Development teams to understand products and identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Oversees development of insurance rate and rule filing documents using internal and external resources.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with regulatory agencies and serves as primary contact for compliance issues, inquiries, and investigations.
- Oversees application and approval as a rate filing organization in selected states with Legal and Government Affairs.
- Manages tracking of rate filing activity, including objections and responses to state regulators.
- Ensures accuracy, consistency, and availability of real-time and retrospective financial analytics and reporting tools.
- Serves as primary contact for regulatory filing activities of business partners.
People Leadership
- Manages individual contributors for Advisory Services and Analytics teams.
- Minimum three years of experience with hands on data analysis application projects including pricing or performance analysis. Ability to review data and develop meaningful insights for high customer value.
- Ability to communicate the results of statistical analyses to non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of property-casualty insurance terminology
- Minimum three years’ experience managing a product or actuarial team
- Experience working with actuarial staff and C-Suite executives to make presentations.
