Data Services Manager
Description
- Build teams, provide feedback, mentor, and manage data processes and projects.
- Take an active role working with the leadership team to create exciting and engaging team building events.
- Lead and manage a team of Data Analysts, Data Quality Analysts, and Data Mapping Specialists across multiple locations in US, Canada and Poland.
- Establish clear goals and objectives that align with Department and Corporate Game Plans.
- Interface with internal customers as the Subject Matter Expert in the processing and loading of accident data.
- Show thought leadership and communicate effectively.
- Manage operational processes to provide the highest quality of data loading.
As a Data Services Manager your Responsibilities will be:
- Managing and executing against project plans and delivery commitments.
- Creating exciting and engaging team culture experiences.
- Supporting your team members everyday on their own personal journey.
- Managing the day to day activities of the team.
- Working closely with business leaders and other stakeholders to develop project plans, and participate in resource priority planning.
- Developing, evaluating, and implementing improved processes, methods, and tools to continually improve effectiveness.
- Strong leadership abilities and extensive experience managing a team.
- Proven ability to coach and develop staff.
- Proven ability to identify and define business requirements, propose/evaluate alternatives, and implement cost effective solutions to support the business.
- A strong sense of team work and collaboration skills.
- Experience owning and creating positive team culture experiences and events.
- Proven track record of cross-functional project delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and support skills: you're critical and strategic thinker.
- Strong SQL and Excel skills.
- A track record of communicating well with executives and non-technical leaders.
- Bachelor's Degree.
