Accounts Receivable Manager
Description
- Develop and maintain high quality/cost efficient processes, train/lead associates and work effectively across the CARFAX organization to identify and resolve operational challenges that could potentially impact the invoicing of our customers and also cash collections.
- Oversee our relationship with external invoicing/cash application and external collections partners to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data to support our overall cash collections.
- Collaborate with the leadership of the Finance, Sales, Account Management and Internal Applications teams to support the best customer experience for prospective and existing CARFAX customers.
- Recruit and hire team members, as necessary, who can work independently and deliver high quality results consistently.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely and accurate case management and responsiveness to our internal and external customers
- Monitor aging accounts and prepare regular reports on outstanding receivables, collections and write-offs
- Assess effectiveness of current processes to identify ways to reduce bad debt
- Work closely with Accounting team to ensure all month-end entries are recorded timely and accurately
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of related work experience in accounts receivable or related accounting functions, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
- High level proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Salesforce, COGNOS and NetSuite is highly desired.
