The Brand Manager works closely with Sales to develop, execute, and maintain high-impact, cost-effective marketing programs that drive growth, strengthen brand identity, and ensure established corporate goals for the brands are achieved. This role manages the product marketing and digital marketing functions for Tiny Traveler and Yada brands to ensure marketing programs and communications deliver against brand objectives. This role reports to the VP of Brand.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Actively partner with VP of Brand to lead the development and execution of Tiny Traveler and Yada brand strategies
  • Take ownership of brand and marketing strategies for the product’s entire lifecycle
  • In conjunction with marketing and sales, develop brand objectives and category strategy to support growth and profitability targets, implement annual plans, and track results
  • Identify partnership opportunities to drive brand awareness and maximize brand exposure
  • Develops, implements, and reviews 360 integrated go-to-market launch plans
  • Develops, implements, and administers the marketing promotion budget
  • Develops new product roadmap, launches and sales forecasts
  • Reviews and reports brand business activities including but not limited to profit and loss reporting, new products and distribution, tracks performance and sales trends
  • Conducts market research and uses data to develop brand strategies for D2C and B2B audiences
  • Gathers/organizes detailed sales data on a weekly/monthly/annual basis
  • Formulates and recommends effective marketing solutions and oversees development of marketing communications
  • Develops and implements proposals and communication pieces supporting the brand
  • Manages the extension of the brand identity throughout all marketing communication elements
  • Manages packaging, pricing, promotions, communication, and product functions
  • Manages website, bloggers, and social medial content with internal marketing team and external digital agencies
  • Sets and manages P&L targets by categories and channels
  • Manages trade show activities
  • Possesses and cultivates in-depth brand, marketing, and industry knowledge; demonstrates this understanding in the creation and execution of marketing strategies
  • Attends conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepares post-event reports and analysis
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Works with creative team to design content that aligns with the brand and its messaging

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (Master’s degree or MBA degree a plus)
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a managerial role in marketing and branding within CPG markets, including but not limited to branding, product management, new product development, development & execution of a marketing plan, budget management and market research
  • Advanced knowledge of creating and managing budgeting
  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills – ability to create and deliver professional and engaging presentations
