We currently hold hundreds of licenses for franchises ranging from Marvel to Harry Potter, giving us the rights to create tens of thousands of characters—one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry. We take your favorite characters and turn them into adorable, or sometimes scary, collectible figures. Our most famous line, Pop! Vinyl, has millions of fans around the world. 

About the Role

As the Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of a critical web applications layer architecture and various back-end systems supporting eCommerce and other digital initiatives.  We are looking for someone that can design a complex system and can also carry out the coding and deployment of this system.  We are not asking you to do everything yourself, but need generalists that can pitch in where needed!

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding in both OOP and Ecommerce systems. Our platform consists of several systems based on languages such as Java, PHP, NodeJS, ReactJS and more. 

What You’ll Do 

  • ·       Work with our Product Management, Automation, and Customer Success teams to continuously and iteratively develop amazing new experiences to our customers
  • ·       Designing new web application features, including gathering requirements and documenting the design
  • ·       Delight customers by solving problems and coding new product capabilities using JAVA, PHP, NodeJS, ReactJS with React/Redux, HTML, CSS, Elastic, and SQL on cloud-based infrastructure
  • ·       Work with customers when issues require escalation to the development team
  • ·       Participate in the daily standup, driving your features to done, and collaboratively working in a team environment
  • ·       Troubleshoot escalations and developing fixes to bugs
  • ·       Learn new technologies to keep your skills current
  • ·       Grow and scale your abilities as the company grows
  • ·       Assist development efforts in an agile software development environment, participate in sprint planning, task breakdown, and daily stand ups 

What You’ll Bring 

  • ·       8+ years of experience with object-oriented languages such as JAVA, C++, C#, or PHP
  • ·       8+ years of experience in Ecommerce systems with focus on scalable distributed systems
  • ·       Fluent in modern front-end web framework such as Angular, React, or Ember
  • ·       Fluent several of the following languages; HTML5, CSS, JS, Java, PHP
  • ·       Fluent in several modern database technologies such as MySql, Postgress, MSSQL, MongoDB
  • ·       Preferred working experience coding, using and designing REST APIs
  • ·       Experience in designing and building web services, databases, and cloud-based architectures
  • ·       Ability to identify and follow a software bug regardless of where the search may lead you in the application stack.
  • ·       Experience taking a leading role in building complex performant software systems that have been successfully deployed
  • ·       Experience evangelizing new technologies, process, and methodologies
  • ·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science preferred

Salary Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105,000-130,000 annually.​ Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
