Position Summary:

We are recruiting for a Sales Development Representative  to join our team. In this role, you will partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to generate new opportunities and sales  leads that will expand our customer base within the Enterprise, Public Sector, and Mid-Market space. You will play a critical role to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting, qualifying and capturing/nurturing leads, primarily by phone, e-mail, Internet, and social media
  • Networking research to successfully create appointments within your assigned region and target accounts
  • Building rapport and cultivating relationships with a variety of team members
  • Work internally with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of discovery calls/product demonstrations
  • Partner closely with the marketing team and nurture leads provided by them for discovery calls with sales
  • Clearly communicate CrashPlan’s value propositions to prospects and learn about their needs to see if there’s a good fit

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year of similar experience generating  sales leads by making daily cold calls and/or email campaigns
  • Previous experience utilizing Salesforce, Salesloft, or a similar CRM prospecting tool
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and  self-motivated and results oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability  to communicate with all levels of the organization and/or with those who may be associated with the organization in order to negotiate outcomes, convey information or system requirements, and/or to offer up solutions 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a SaaS and/or tech environment
