What You Will Be Doing:

We are recruiting for a Growth Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Conversion, you will execute campaigns and programs designed to generate interest in CrashPlan and its products. You will work collaboratively with sales to identify our ideal customer profiles to make sure our message hits the right people at the right time at every step of the buying cycle.

Day In The Life:

  • Inbound Marketing - manage our SEO, PPC, and social media acquisition programs

  • Digital Advertising - create digital ad campaigns and third-party content programs designed to generate leads

  • Retargeting - develop retargeting campaigns on platforms like Google and LinkedIn to keep us top of mind with website visitors, social media followers, and leads

  • Marketing Nurture - develop workflows (including email and other touchpoints) designed to move leads along to become marketing qualified leads

  • Content Creation - sometimes on your own and but mostly with the help of others, create written, video, and other forms of content to attract and nurture new leads

  • Campaign, Program, and Event Marketing - while we will be using a largely digital and inbound marketing strategy, manage other campaigns, programs, and events as needed to drive the creation of new B2B and B2C leads/pipeline (with support from other team members including our head of Marcomm and marketing coordinator among others).

  • Program Management - using our project management software, track all campaigns, programs, and activities to ensure efficient execution. Keep track of spend against budget to optimize ROI. Manage outside agencies and internal resources to achieve outcomes.

  • Reporting - in collaboration with the marketing operations team, provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of upstream activities, early results, and key performance indicators chosen to show progress against our objectives

Who You Are:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related discipline and/or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, including experience running lead generation campaigns and marketing programs

  • Understanding of common marketing key performance indicators including how to report on them and analyze them for action

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Ability to travel 10-15%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a SaaS environment, including cyber security and/or data back up experience




The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance in addition to a full range of benefits. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and the candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.
