CBC Real Estate is seeking a Commercial Leasing Associate to join our team. CBC Real Estate is a subsidiary of Capitol Broadcasting Company with real estate holdings throughout North Carolina. As a Commercial Leasing Associate, you will play a vital role in the leasing of Class A Office and Retail spaces located within the American Tobacco Campus.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and target tenant prospects.
- Collaborate with CBC Real Estate leaders in developing and implementing leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective commercial tenants.
- Coordinate with external legal team to prepare and review lease documents.
- Learn and adopt CBC Real Estate leasing processes and deal analysis.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, including property listings, brochures, online platforms and digital content, to showcase the unique features and advantages of the American Tobacco Campus.
- Collaborate with senior members of the Real Estate team to create and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants for commercial properties.
- Organize and participate in prospective tenant tours of the American Tobacco Campus.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records, including tenant information, lease terms, and market comps.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with brokerage community to maximize leasing opportunities and broaden market reach.
- Work closely with property management, legal, construction, and accounting teams to ensure seamless lease execution and handoff.
- Report leasing and asset updates to internal team, company executives, and any other financial stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in sales, business development or commercial real estate.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage with potential tenants and build strong relationships.
- Quantitative/analytical skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the commercial leasing industry.
