Position Description:  The Clinical Supervisor is responsible to provide clinical groups and/or individual supervision of staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:                                                                                                                             

  • Provide group and individual clinical supervision to FSP/HOME clinicians who are BBS Registered and acquiring hours for licensure as an LMFT, LPCC or LCSW.
  • Provide clinical leadership, support and training to staff working in FSP/HOME programs.
  • Participate in the effort to ensure that all staff are properly trained in clinical matters, relevant to the needs of their positions and those of regulatory and funding agencies.
  • Along with the Director of Services and Program Director, participate in the effort to ensure that medical record documentation in all programs meets the requirements of all applicable standards and regulations.
  • Participate in the effort to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures of the State Department of Health Care Services, and the County of Solano Behavioral Health Department.
  • Strive to ensure the excellence of the quality of care in all FSP/HOME services according to the Assertive Community Treatment Model and to ensure thorough staff supervision so that services are provided in accordance with the principles of social rehabilitation and agency ethical standards.
  • Model respectful, caring, tolerant, ethical, and empowering relationships with all individuals served and employed.
  • Represent Caminar as assigned, ensuring a positive and caring public image, as well as appropriate visibility, in the community.
  • Drive own or agency vehicle to treatment destinations, as required; documenting and reporting mileage according to agency procedures, so that services can be provided in a timely manner. Comply with agency vehicle policy at all times.

Requirements, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be passionate about Caminar's mission.
  • Must be licensed as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psychologist for a minimum of 2 years and completed Clinical Supervisor Training according to BBS or BOP Regulations.
  • Experience working in a psychosocial rehabilitation treatment setting. Demonstrated knowledge of Psycho-Social Rehab with Transitional Age Youth, Adults and Older Adults is required.

Special Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance, as required by Title XXII, other licensing regulations, and Caminar practices.
  • This position requires frequent driving. A valid California driver license, reliable personal vehicle, current personal auto insurance as required by law, and an MVR sufficient to obtain and reasonably maintain insurability under agency auto liability policies are all essential job requirements. 
  • Must be able to pass post-offer, pre-employment medical and drug tests as required under State Community Care Licensing regulations and/or agency policies.
