Job Summary:

The Bid Desk Pricing Analyst provides quotations, financial analysis and responses for customer-facing opportunities.  The analyst will manage incoming opportunities, working with Sales to provide data required for accurate quotation and produce P&Ls for senior management approval.  The analyst will also manage RFP, RFI and other customer responses and administer contract workflows and approvals with organized storage in the document repository. 

 

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Bid Desk function working with field sales for assessment and quotation of opportunities
  • Manage pre-sales work flow including tracking/assignment of opportunities, creating project P&Ls and obtaining approvals prior to customer submission
  • Create service enablement for new solutions including parts logistics strategy, customer care support and training requirements to ensure successful launch
  • Lead meetings with Sales, Senior Management and Customers to investigate/define opportunities and present quotations and bid responses
  • Assist Sales with statements of work and contract documents
  • Manage internal contract approval process, working with management and outside counsel for business and terms approval for agreements
  • Provide oversight for contracts repository and management of electronic execution tools
  • Conduct periodic reviews of function performance delivery - deliver reports identifying trends and areas of continued improvement opportunity.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, forecasting and tracking key account metrics
  • Enhance department and organization performance by owning and completing new and original requests, always exploring opportunities to add value
  • Deliver quotations, analyses and responses accurately and on time

 

 

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite with Teams, Project, PowerPoint and Visio skills required
  • Advanced Excel skills for complex analyses (pivot table, macro-level design preferable)
  • Significant experience and comfort with financial math
  • Knowledge of Hubspot or other CRM solution
  • Prior experience with Configure-Price-Quote systems preferred
  • Strong leadership presence to manage all aspects of sales enablement
  • Ability to create presentations and comfortable articulating Burroughs solutions to internal and external audiences
  • Develop opportunity cost models for Burroughs senior management
  • Develop and manage new processes required for customer workflow

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with cash management solutions (smart safes, recyclers, ATMs), kiosks and self-service lockers is preferred
  • Experience working with statements of work, contractual agreements, sales orders and other legal instruments
  • Articulate with interpersonal skills (oral and written) for internal and external customer discussions
  • Positive attitude, self-managed, decisive, and accountable
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and drive projects to completion
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive in nature with the ability to predict, prevent and resolve issues
