Masonry Laborer/Machine Operator

You’d be responsible for:
- Cutting materials to specified sizes for installation, using power saws or tile cutters.
- Construction of scaffolding or other installation structures.
- Selecting or locating and supplying materials to masons for installation and construction, following drawings or numbered sequences.
- Mixing mortar, plaster, and grout, manually or using machines, according to standard formulas.
- Applying grout between joints of bricks or tiles, using grouting trowels.
- Correcting surface imperfections or fill chipped, cracked or broken bricks or tiles, using fillers, adhesives, and grouting materials.
- Providing assistance in the preparation, construction, installation, repair, and/or rebuilding of tile, brick, or stone surfaces.
- Cleaning installation surfaces, equipment, tools, work sites, and storage areas, using water, chemical solutions, oxygen lances, or polishing machines.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- 2-3+ years experience working with commercial construction
- Experience with operating heavy machinery required
- Valid Drivers License Required
- Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
- Ability to load/unload trailer (up to 50 lbs.)
- Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
- Ability to work & multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong work ethics
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
