Who We Are

BioMarin’s Technical Operations group is responsible for creating our drugs for use in clinical trials and for scaling production of those drugs for the commercial market. These engineers, technicians, scientists and support staff build and maintain BioMarin’s cutting-edge manufacturing processes and sites, provide quality assurance and quality control to ensure we meet regulatory standards, and procure the needed goods and services to support manufacturing and coordinating the worldwide movement of our drugs to patients.


The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.  

We’re seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Automate Developer to join Quality Science and Technology group within Quality. The intern will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate under a Director’s supervision. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and enhance overall efficiency. 



·       Creating and implementing Microsoft suite workflows to streamline data transfer, automate routine tasks, and enhance the efficiency of cross-functional processes. 

·       Analyzing and resolve integration issues, ensuring the seamless operation of integrated systems and addressing any disruptions. 

Required Skills: 

·       Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources 

·       Experience with Microsoft Office 365 development utilizing PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI, Teams and SharePoint Online  

·       Ability to create custom connectors for Microsoft Flow 

Desired Skills: 

·       Microsoft Power Platform (PL-900) Certification  

·       Microsoft Power Platform App maker Certification 


·       Undergraduate student in their 3rd of 4th year Majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

·       Student must be returning to school in the Fall Term OR has graduated within the 1 year of the start of the program.   

·       Must be available to work 40 hours a week 

·       Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

In the U.S., the hiring range for this position is $ 21.00 to $ 25.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
