SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

This position will responsible for leading marketing strategies and initiatives for Achondroplasia Franchise, creating Regional Marketing Plan in coordination with Global Management Team.  To ensure local execution of global marketing priorities, you will work in partnership and close collaboration with medical, market access and sales team from the entire region.

 

This position has an Intercontinental scope composed mainly of: Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, among other countries where we work with distributors.

 

The Associate Director will report to the ICON Senior Director of Marketing.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES

List the major responsibilities of the job.

  • Responsible for creating Regional Marketing Plan in coordination with Global Management Team for launching in a complex market;
  • Experience shaping the market, shaping standard of care and need for a treatment;
  • Develop and coordinate market researches with key stakeholders;
  • Strong metric capabilities, mapping the marketing and properly leading analysis and projections;
  • Work closely with Access team in order to ensure best initiatives, alignment and access submissions in Latin America;
  • Work closely with physicians in the field building relationship, advocates and managing key opinion leaders;
  • Responsible for ensuring local execution of global marketing priorities, working with medical, access and sales team;
  • Accountable for managing effective relationships and partnerships between internal stakeholders, such marketing, sales and medical teams;
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievements by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities;
  •  Ability to work in a multiproduct environment with multiple approach and strong leadership;
  • Lead multichannel strategies for the franchises, printed materials, virtual approaches, events, congress…;
  • Understand P&L concept and coordinate initiatives to achieve goals;
  • Strong ability on project management and KPI implementation;
  • Implementation of ROI tools to maximize and select initiatives;
  • Experience working in a multinational company, being part of strategic discussions, forums and presentations;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment leading the entire Latin America market approach;

 

SCOPE

Quantify the scope or impact of the job in terms of revenue, expenses, capital investment, headcount, etc.

This position will being charge of launching on of the two biggest launches in the company in the next 4 years

 

EDUCATION

State both the minimum and the preferred educational attainment (or equivalent experience), and describe essential and desired subject matter, certifications, special training, etc.

·       Preferable majored in Marketing or with a MBA/Specialization in MKT

·       Fluent English is mandatory

·       Advanced Spanish is desired

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 10 years on Pharmaceutical Industry
Experience on launching complex products
Experience working with Endopediatricians.
