Position Summary Contribute to the development of new products and support existing products to meet the objectives of the Global R&D Industry using the BACTALERT reagents and instruments for Pharma Quality Control. Generate data to support feasibility concepts for industry applications of BACTALERT reagents and instruments.
Primary Duties
Contributes to cross-functional projects, by planning, data collection, and resolving issues.
Ensures that the projects results and data are accurately documented in accordance with the company quality assurance and design control procedures.
Performs data collection, interpretation, and draws conclusions to continue the development process.
Provides protocols and procedures for the projects.
Presents and presents reports on conducted experiments at internal or external professional meetings.
Contributes with technical expertise so that quality products can be designed and produced on time.
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education, Training and Experience
Bachelor's degree required in Life Science, Micro or Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related science field
Knowledge of method validation within Pharma industry is preferred.
Experience in product development with microbiology field is preferred.
Proficient in skills necessary for good laboratory safety, aseptic technique, and basic microbiology technique preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.
Ability to operate office equipment, computers, phones, and the like.
Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.
Ability to move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. in all directions.
Domestic travel required: 5%
International travel required: 5%
Total travel: 10%
Position is lab-based and follows work practices for working with laboratory biohazards and chemical hazards.
