The Barracuda Networks Team continues to expand and is looking for a Channel Business Manager based in the UK. This is an exciting role within the sales team, which will manage an identified set of existing partners help drive sales engagements in the region. Your role will be driven by translating our products and solutions into business value for our channel partners, which requires an understanding of our partners’ business model including training and assisting our partners to develop value propositions that can help them win new customers and up-sell to their existing customer base.

What you’ll be working on:
  • Day to day engagement with channel reseller partners via onsite meetings, telephone and email to provide assistance and drive business
  • Create and execute business plans to help channel partners meet and exceed revenue, training, and marketing, goals as well as certifications. Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing and trade show events to support the goals of the approved plan
  • Development of sales and marketing activities, as part of an overall business plan with your partners, working closely with our field marketing team
  • Building out technical relationships with the support of our specialist teams 
  • Leveraging Hyperscaler relationships to participate in tri-party initiatives
  • Establish and maintain executive level relationships with key partners
  • Support the closure of revenue opportunities
  • Work with partners to develop and manage sales pipeline, maximise our deal registration program
  • Meet and exceed your monthly/ quarterly sales activities and revenue targets
  • Work with partner sales personnel to extend reach and drive adoption of the Barracuda solutions
  • Deliver effective sales demonstration and presentations
  • Articulate compelling value propositions for Barracuda’s solutions
  • Understands and effectively presents/ deliver ROI models
What you bring to the role: 
  • The ability to effectively communicate within your team and at all levels of the company
  • Experience of working independently and be a self-starter on projects of different levels 
  • Existing channel relationships to leverage in your territory 
  • Sales experience selling IT solutions with all types of channel partners, especially managed service providers. 
  • Experience selling Software-as-a-Service solutions, ideally in the cyber-security space 
  • Experience in Network Security and/ or Storage, a real benefit 
  • Both direct and indirect sales experience 
  • Strong analytical skills that enable the development of complete sales cycle including software demonstrations 
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements 
  • Proven ability to cut through layers/ barriers and get to the decision maker, and effectively promote Barracuda products and services 
  • Strong C-level/ board level communications skills 
  • Independent thinking with good judgment skills and a proven record of problem-solving 
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a focus on customer success 
  • Good business acumen, experience with basic contracts and pricing 
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools 
  • Experience of working and leveraging IT security project through direct touch in collaboration with a channel partner eco-systems.
