Barracuda provides powerful yet easy-to-use security and data protection solutions that simplify it. We are looking for a Cloud Ops Engineer who will assist with monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure in Barracuda production environments. This role applies professional-level technical skill and judgment to provide non-routine technical support for infrastructure operations. Installs, configures and troubleshoots server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems, and other resources in a data center and public clouds. Also helps to maintain access control, data integrity, and file system security for the production environment with monitoring and maintenance of Barracuda infrastructure.
What you’ll be working on
- Cloud Operations and Infrastructure Support
- Support Cloud Infrastructure and Application alerts and requests
- Setup and Finetune Monitoring periodically
- Participate in 24x7 shift rotation
- Azure, AWS, GCP and Datacentre support
- Kubernetes Cluster, Container, Linux, Windows Support
- Incident management, share feedback to improve uptime
- Remotely building and Supporting Servers, Network and Appliances hosted in Datacentre
- Automate Repeat tasks and optimize
- Maintaining the uptime of the application and resolving cases as per SLA
- Upgrades, Replacement of RAM, HDD, Raid cards, BBU
- Patching, Configuration update on Linux, K8 and other Operating systems
- Build SOPs and Review periodically
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of Azure, AWS, GCP & Datacentres Support experience
- Exposure to Virtualization tools like KVM, Proxmox, VMware
- Experience in building and supporting Kubernetes cluster Management, Containers, Linux and Windows Servers
- Experience in tools like PagerDuty, NewRelic, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
- Troubleshooting Infrastructure, applications, systems, log analysis and tracing
- Experience in remotely building servers, upgrades and configurations
- Good knowledge and understanding in Cloud Concepts
- Handson experience in Azure, AWS, GCP and Datacentre
- Expertise in Shell scripting, Git, Postgres and MySQL is a plus
- Understanding of TCP/IP networks (subnets, routing, DNS, Firewall, WAF)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Azure or AWS certification is a plus
- Enthusiasm and willingness to communicate via video-conferencing and Slack with a globally distributed team.
