We are looking for a Cloud Site Reliability Senior Engineer to join a team delivering cloud SaaS products at scale. We need somebody who is passionate about the SRE method and a technologist who is looking to make a difference to how and what we do in order to continually improve and learn. 

Tech Stack:   

  • Kubernetes (Ideally on Azure AKS) 

  • Terraform (Ideally with Azure) 

  • Azure 

  • Automation / Pipelines using Azure Dev ops or GitHub Action 

  • Grafana LGTM 

What you’ll be working on 

  • Own and manage the infrastructure as code, supporting engineering teams to self-service based on the best practice you create. 

  • Support the Engineering team in design and implementation decisions. 

  • Cost and performance management for multi-regional deployments. 

  • Define and improve observability with LGTM. 

  • Collaborate with other Cloud operation and engineering teams to continually refine best practice. 

  • Minimizing alert noise to make every alert actionable. 

What you bring to the role 

  • Extensive knowledge of terraform. 

  • Familiarity with Multi region, multi cluster Kubernetes ideally in Azure. 

  • Cloud architecture and tooling. 

  • You will be keen to learn and teach. 

  • Pro-active communicator with the ability to explain technical risks and incidents in a language different audiences can understand  

  • A passion for technology, learning and evangelizing for the best ways to work.  

  • Automation Minded – dislikes repetitive works and looks for ways to minimize it 

  • Pragmatic – Balance reliability with delivery speed instead of demanding perfection

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is CAD 110,000 to CAD 140,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
